Export logistics specialist
Coordinate and manage export shipments from booking through to final delivery, ensuring smooth and timely execution
Liaise effectively with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to secure bookings and resolve operational matters
Prepare, review, and validate all export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Certificates of Origin, Form 13, and other required documents
Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and internal company policies
Monitor vessel schedules, cargo readiness, and port cut-off dates to avoid delays or penalties
Track shipment status proactively and resolve any operational issues, including delays, documentation discrepancies, or clearance challenges
Maintain accurate and timely data entry within ERP systems to ensure visibility and reporting accuracy
Review and validate freight and logistics invoices prior to submission to the Finance team
Collaborate cross-functionally with Warehouse, Planning, Sales, and Finance teams to align shipment schedules and operational priorities
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
2 - 5 years of proven experience in export logistics, preferably within manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of international shipping processes and Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.)
Solid understanding of export documentation requirements, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and Form 13
Hands-on experience with customs clearance procedures and Egyptian export regulations
Proven ability to coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage shipment delays, documentation issues, and operational challenges
