Accountabilities: The Lead, People Operations - Process Design will own the design and continuous improvement of People processes, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business growth. This role will act as a bridge between operational teams, systems specialists, and technical partners to deliver impactful improvements.

Lead current-state and future-state process mapping across key People Operations initiatives.

Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual work, and improve execution.

Diagnose root causes of operational challenges by evaluating process gaps, system limitations, and change management needs.

Design scalable processes, documentation standards, governance frameworks, and operational best practices.

Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for People systems, automation solutions, and workflow improvements.

Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI tools, automation, and digital solutions to increase operational efficiency.

Partner with People Systems, IT, and Analytics teams to ensure solutions are supported by reliable data and effective system architecture.

Establish and monitor success metrics such as cycle times, throughput, error reduction, cost savings, and adoption rates.

Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders, define future-state processes, and drive decision-making.

Support change management initiatives by creating communication plans and helping teams adopt new ways of working.

Promote AI adoption and technology fluency across People teams through experimentation, education, and practical applications.

Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution by developing solutions and supporting implementation.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced People Operations or transformation professional who combines operational expertise with strong technology and process improvement capabilities. They should be comfortable working across teams, managing ambiguity, and turning complex challenges into practical solutions.

5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR transformation, process excellence, management consulting, or related fields within complex, scaling organizations.

Proven experience redesigning cross-functional processes and improving operational efficiency.

Strong knowledge of Workday, including its data model, workflows, and capabilities, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

Practical understanding of AI tools and agent-based workflows, including prompting, automation opportunities, system integrations, and solution design.

Strong systems-thinking abilities with the capacity to connect operations, employee experience, data, and technology.

Experience facilitating workshops and aligning diverse stakeholders toward clear outcomes.

Ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, from defining solutions to implementing improvements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex operational concepts.

Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
