Accountabilities: The Associate Director, Study Feasibility & Clinical Partnerships is responsible for leading feasibility strategies, managing clinical vendor partnerships, and ensuring operational alignment across study programs. This role requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive efficient clinical trial execution.

Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to feasibility and vendor management teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Develop and execute strategic feasibility approaches by analyzing study protocols, operational requirements, site capabilities, and available data.

Conduct comprehensive feasibility assessments to identify appropriate sites, vendors, resources, and operational strategies for successful study delivery.

Translate feasibility insights into actionable recommendations that support planning, vendor selection, and resource allocation.

Manage key vendor relationships, including performance tracking, issue resolution, governance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop and maintain vendor performance frameworks, metrics, reporting structures, and escalation processes.

Partner with Business Development, Finance, Operations, Legal, and other stakeholders to align feasibility and vendor strategies with organizational goals.

Serve as a subject matter expert on feasibility processes, clinical partnerships, and operational considerations during strategic discussions.

Identify and mitigate risks that may impact timelines, study execution, or operational performance.

Improve departmental processes, tools, databases, and standard operating procedures to increase efficiency and scalability.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in clinical research operations, feasibility management, and vendor partnerships, with the ability to operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional environment. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, nursing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in clinical operations, clinical trial feasibility, vendor management, study start-up, or related areas.

Strong understanding of clinical protocols, research processes, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and study activation workflows.

Proven experience working with sponsors, CROs, site networks, investigators, and clinical research partners.

Demonstrated expertise in feasibility assessments, vendor sourcing, contracting workflows, and operational planning.

Experience managing and developing teams, with strong coaching and leadership abilities.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate value and align diverse partners.

Analytical mindset with experience using data, KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to guide decisions.

Strong project and process management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Experience with feasibility platforms, CTMS systems, clinical portals, and project tracking tools.

Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and data management tools.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.
