Senior Fire Protection Engineer

Our Leading International Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Fire Protection Engineer working for recognised supervision consultants or PMC Companies.

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3-6 month contract as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review the design of Fire protection systems (firefighting, fire alarm, smoke control, emergency lighting, LPG) drawings preparation and review for authority submission and approval
• Fire protection reports writing as well as QAQC other reports
• Produce accurate and timely submittals to agreed deadlines
• Prepare and issuance of final FLS Strategy reports and studies when assigned by managers and directors
• Contribute to the continued development of FP design deliverables
• Meet the time-line set for the generation of all fire and life safety designs, reports and related submission tasks such as client meetings and workshops
• Keep traceability and version control for all generated design and technical submittal
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects
• Actively pursue continued professional development through the completion of training modules
• Engaging in the implementation and maintenance of the IMS and its processes and in achieving expected outputs
• Conducting all FLS activities in a quality, healthy and safe manner and reporting any observed problems/risks to the concerned head

Senior Fire Protection Engineer Experience:

• A BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire Safety/Protection or Mechanical / Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 7 years experience practicing fire protection engineering / consultancy
• IFE Member preferred
• CFPS and PMP Certification
• Sound technical knowledge in Fire Safety/Engineering within Residential, Commercial and Hotels sectors
