FIBER OPTIC TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities Install, splice, and connect fiber optic cables. Test internet lines using tools like OTDR and power meters. Find and fix cable damage or signal problems. Follow all safety rules while using ladders or working in small spaces. Keep simple records of the work completed each day. Valid Driver’s License: Knowing how to drive with a valid driver's license is a plus!

Qualifications/Requirements: Requirements Basic experience working with fiber optic cables or telecommunications. Knowledge of fiber tools (splicing machines, cable cutters, testers). Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors. Good problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
