Startup Investment and Programs Manager
- Lead the end-to-end management of startup investment and support programs (e.g., Invest IT),
including drafting RFPs, coordinating procurement processes, evaluating proposals, and selecting service providers.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of programs, ensuring alignment with objectives,
timelines, and defined KPIs, and monitoring the performance of implementing partners and service providers.
- Manage and coordinate international startup programs and initiatives (e.g., global missions and
bilateral collaboration programs) in collaboration with partners such as JICA, including participant selection, follow-up, and outcome tracking.
- Co-design and implement collaborative startup programs with international partners (e.g., JICA),
including defining governance models, operational frameworks, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Develop, manage, and expand a network of investors, venture capital firms, and ecosystem
partners, and facilitate connections between startups and potential investors to support investment opportunities.
- Identify and initiate strategic partnership opportunities with local and international organizations
(e.g., JICA, GIZ, and others) to support program development, investment readiness, and access to global markets.
- Support and participate in investor engagement activities, including meetings, networking events,
and ecosystem gatherings to strengthen relationships and create opportunities for startups.
- Develop and maintain program monitoring systems, track performance against KPIs, and ensure
timely and structured reporting on program outcomes and impact.
- Prepare regular reports and updates.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of startup support programs,
particularly in areas related to investment readiness, internationalization, and partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth program implementation and compliance
with organizational procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct manager as required.
- Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives
simultaneously
- Solid understanding of startup ecosystems, investment processes, and funding dynamics
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with
investors, partners, and ecosystem players
- Ability to develop and expand networks with venture capital firms, angel investors, and industry
stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with startups,
partners, and senior stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in defining KPIs, tracking performance, and
reporting on program outcomes
- Ability to work with international partners and in cross-cultural environments
- Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to execution
- Good understanding of emerging technologies and trends (e.g., AI, data-driven startups) is a strong
advantage
- High level of ownership, initiative, and ability to work independently
