The Role
We are looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Sales Associate to join our small team on a part-time, casual basis. You will help customers explore the collection, offer thoughtful suggestions and keep the shop looking its best.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide attentive, helpful service.
- Recommend products, share their details and help customers find pieces for their homes or gifts for others.
- Build customer relationships and introduce shoppers to our loyalty program.
- Process purchases, returns and payments accurately using Shopify POS.
- Maintain attractive displays and a tidy, inviting shop.
- Receive, organize and replenish inventory.
- Assist with online store customer service, responding to product questions and order inquiries.
- Support the team with daily store operations.
Qualifications
- Retail sales or customer service experience.
- A warm, approachable manner and strong communication skills.
- An interest in home décor, handmade products and visual presentation.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependability and the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Familiarity with Shopify POS or other point-of-sale systems is an asset.
Pay and Schedule
- $21.50?$22.00 per hour.
- Part-time, casual hours, scheduled according to store needs and your availability.
- Availability for occasional weekend shifts and additional coverage is an asset.
