Position Overview

 The successful candidate will ensure optimal chick health, welfare, growth performance, and

mortality control by maintaining ideal environmental conditions, implementing biosecurity

measures, monitoring nutrition, and adhering to poultry management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

 Manage daily brooding operations.

 Monitor chick health and welfare.

 Maintain optimal brooding temperatures.

 Monitor ventilation and humidity.

 Ensure adequate feeding programs.

 Manage water quality and supply.

 Implement farm biosecurity procedures.

 Monitor chick growth performance.

 Maintain brooder equipment.

 Record production data accurately.

 Identify and report diseases.

 Administer vaccines as scheduled.

 Supervise brooder attendants.

 Ensure cleanliness of brooder houses.

 Reduce chick mortality rates.

 Perform any assigned duties.

Qualifications & Experience

 Diploma Animal Production.

 Poultry Production Qualification.

 Two Years Experience.

 Poultry Farm Experience.

 Brooding Management Knowledge.

 Poultry Nutrition Knowledge.

 Disease Prevention Skills.

 Biosecurity Procedures Knowledge.

 Record Keeping Skills.

 Computer Literacy Required.

 Communication Skills.
