Your new company

A growing residential developer is preparing to commence work on a new housing development in Wythenshawe and is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the initial demolition and enabling works phase.

Your new role

Starting on 17th August, you will take responsibility for managing the demolition works package ahead of the main construction programme. This is a short-term assignment of approximately 2-3 weeks, requiring a proactive Site Manager capable of maintaining high standards of health, safety and site coordination.

Your duties will include:

  • Overseeing all demolition activities on site
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely
  • Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
  • Monitoring compliance with health & safety procedures
  • Maintaining site records and reporting progress to the project team
  • Coordinating site logistics during the enabling works phase

What you'll need to succeed

  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management (essential)
  • Black CSCS Card
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Fire Warden / Fire Marshal Certificate
  • Proven Site Management experience within residential construction
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
