Responsibilities Conduct 30-minute, protocol-required telehealth nutrition and lifestyle counseling sessions with assigned clinical trial participants every four weeks throughout the 52-week study period.

Provide individualized, evidence-based nutrition counseling and lifestyle education in accordance with the clinical trial protocol and sponsor requirements.

Educate participants on healthy dietary habits, physical activity, and sustainable lifestyle modifications to support study objectives.

Utilize motivational interviewing and participant-centered communication techniques to encourage participant engagement and adherence throughout the study.

Accurately document all participant interactions, counseling sessions, and required assessments in study documentation and electronic systems.

Collaborate with Clinical Research Coordinators, Principal Investigators, and the study team to communicate participant progress, scheduling needs, and any protocol-related concerns.

Promptly report participant safety concerns, adverse events, or potential protocol deviations to the appropriate study personnel.

Complete all required study-specific training and maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, HIPAA, sponsor requirements, and all applicable regulatory standards.

Maintain participant confidentiality while delivering a professional, compassionate, and engaging telehealth experience. Effectively manage a flexible remote schedule to ensure timely completion of assigned participant visits.

Requirements Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential in good standing through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Current state licensure as a Registered/Licensed Dietitian, as required by the state(s) in which participants are located.

Minimum of 2 years of experience providing nutrition counseling in a clinical, outpatient, telehealth, or wellness setting.

Experience counseling patients with obesity, weight management, metabolic health, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or related conditions preferred.

Strong knowledge of evidence-based nutrition therapy and behavior change strategies.

Excellent communication, motivational interviewing, and patient education skills.

Comfortable conducting participant visits via telehealth and documenting encounters electronically.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary clinical research team.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a flexible schedule and complete documentation accurately and on time.

Reliable internet connection, laptop and private workspace suitable for telehealth visits.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous clinical research experience or familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Experience supporting lifestyle intervention, obesity, metabolic, endocrinology, or cardiovascular programs.

Experience using electronic health records (EHR) and/or electronic data capture (EDC) systems.

Current GCP certification (or willingness to complete upon hire).
