Service Parts Planner
The Service Parts Planner is responsible for the planning & fulfilment of Spare Parts on a global basis, for both internal and external customers. This role is also the primary contact with our OEM suppliers. You will work cross functionally with Service, Customer Solutions, Product Management, Service Engineering, Sourcing and the Umea planning team.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Execution Replenishment and planning parameter setup for a portfolio
- Drive process improvements with regards to reporting, planning, and inventory optimization
- Overall ownership of material ordering and availability
- Daily shortage and other material root cause investigation and resolution
- Daily communication with suppliers
- Work to improve Supplier Performance – On time Delivery and Quality
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Sense of responsibility, urgency and a service mindset
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines in a fast paced changing environment
- Knowledge on a general level for the setup of a complete supply chain planning
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both verbal and written
- Bachelor’s degree within Operations, supply chain management, data or similar and/or Experience from manufacturing industry working with planning, sourcing or similar
Desired Characteristics:
- Demonstrated ability to drive and manage change initiatives in a global environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Documented experience from working in ERP system
- APICS or equivalent certification
- Master’s degree within Operations, supply chain management, data or similar and/or essential experience from manufacturing industry working with planning, sourcing or similar
