Indispensable :DataQA/TestLead

Who we’re looking for

Fieldwire is looking for a Data Intelligence Manager to join our Data & Operations team based in Pune, India. You will be the operational owner of reporting and analytics for a core business function (G&A, R&D, or GTM), turning raw data into accurate, timely, and trusted intelligence that drive decisions at the executive and departmental level. You will work closely with our Data Engineers, DIM Team Lead, and business partners to build dashboards, define KPIs, and maintain rigorous data quality. This role is critical to the integrity and scalability of our reporting landscape.

What you’ll be doing

The primary responsibilities for this role include:

Own the end-to-end delivery of non-native dashboards for your assigned business function (G&A, R&D, or GTM), combining data across multiple source systems into a single, accurate view

Build, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards and BI products (Power BI or equivalent), ensuring they are always live, accurate, and clearly documented

Define and govern KPIs and performance metrics for your business area, ensuring consistent definitions across teams and regions

Act as the primary business partner for stakeholders in your assigned function — translating business questions into analytical requirements and delivering clear, decision-ready intelligence

Conduct extensive QA on all data outputs: validate inputs, test transformations, reconcile outputs against source systems, and prevent conflicting or duplicate reporting

Maintain a single source of truth for your reporting area, ensuring consistency across all dashboards and outputs

Manage a release and change control process for dashboard updates — including testing, versioning, and stakeholder communication before any changes go live

Monitor data quality continuously; detect and escalate anomalies, breaks, or integrity issues early

Document all metrics, logic, and definitions clearly so that any stakeholder can understand what the data means and how it is calculated

Contribute to cross-training within the DIM team to ensure coverage and reduce single points of failure

Support the DIM Team Lead and Director of Operations in roadmap planning and continuous improvement of the reporting landscape

At Fieldwire, we’re looking for our next Data Intelligence Manager to have the following skills and experiences:

3-5 years of experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, or data intelligence role

Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI

Experience working with large datasets across multiple systems and understanding how to combine them into coherent reporting

Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous QA on data outputs and maintain high standards of accuracy

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills — able to identify inconsistencies and root-cause data issues independently

Experience defining and governing KPIs and metrics frameworks

Excellent communication skills — able to present complex data findings clearly to non-technical business stakeholders

Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and how data pipelines work upstream of analytics

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Comfortable working across time zones in a globally distributed team

And if you have any of the following, we REALLY want you to apply today!

Experience in a SaaS or technology company, ideally with exposure to GTM, Finance, or R&D data

Familiarity with Salesforce reporting and data structures

Experience working with dbt, Snowflake, or similar modern data stack components

Exposure to data governance frameworks and metric catalogues

Prior experience supporting executive-level reporting or board-level dashboards

Background in construction technology or field operations analytics is a plus
