CADET ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Position Title: Field Engineer – Civil Department: Project Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Assignment: Building, Infrastructure, Heavy, and Light Civil Projects Location: Project Site

Job Summary

We are looking for a Field Engineer – Civil who will provide technical support and supervise civil construction activities at the project site. The role will ensure that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Key Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities at the project site. Ensure that construction works are executed according to approved plans, drawings, specifications, and method statements. Review and interpret structural, architectural, and civil engineering drawings. Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, Foremen, QA/QC, Safety, subcontractors, and other site personnel. Monitor the progress and productivity of civil works and ensure timely completion of assigned activities. Conduct site inspections and verify the accuracy and quality of completed works. Assist in site measurements, quantity take-offs, material estimates, and accomplishment verification. Monitor the proper use of construction materials, equipment, and manpower. Identify technical issues, discrepancies, and site constraints and recommend appropriate solutions. Coordinate with the QA/QC team regarding inspections, testing, and quality requirements. Prepare daily activity reports, progress reports, site documentation, and other required records. Assist in monitoring project schedules and provide updates on actual site progress. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding work requirements and site activities. Ensure compliance with project safety policies and procedures. Assist in preparing as-built drawings, punch lists, and project close-out documents. Participate in site coordination meetings and technical discussions. Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) is an advantage. At least 1–3 years of experience in civil construction or project site operations. Experience in Building, Infrastructure, Heavy Civil, or Light Civil projects is an advantage. Knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and site operations. Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings. Knowledge of quantity take-offs, site measurements, and construction documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office ; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Willing to work in a project-site environment and be assigned to different locations. Preferred Skills
