Operational and Functional JD Edwards Engineer

Objective of the job: To support the Finance and Operations departments through the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne ERP system—ensuring smooth day-to-day operational processes and close functional alignment between business requirements and system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, maintain, and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules (Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing) to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Provide first- and second-line functional support to end users, troubleshooting system issues and process queries.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for JDE enhancements and configurations.

Coordinate with IT and external JDE consultants on upgrades, patches, testing, and new module implementations.

Prepare and maintain system documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for JDE users.

Solid understanding of ERP systems and business processes.

Proficiency in Oracle JD Edwards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with System Integration.
