Operations Specialist – Freight Forwarding

Blue Oceans Logistics is seeking an Operations Specialist with 1–3 years of relevant freight forwarding experience to coordinate international shipments, manage shipment follow-ups, and communicate with carriers, overseas agents, customers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate international Ocean and/or Air Freight shipments.

Follow up on bookings, shipment schedules, and cargo movements.

Track shipments and provide timely status updates.

Communicate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and service providers.

Coordinate shipment documentation and operational information.

Maintain accurate shipment records.

Follow up on operational issues and escalate exceptions when necessary.

Coordinate with customers and internal departments throughout the shipment process.

1–3 years of hands-on freight forwarding operations experience.

Practical experience handling international Ocean and/or Air Freight shipments.

Knowledge of shipment tracking, coordination, and shipping documentation.

Familiarity with communication involving carriers and overseas agents.

Good English communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work full-time on-site in Sheraton, Cairo.
