We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced consultant gynecologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of gynecological conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive gynecological consultations, assessments, and treatment plans.

Diagnose and manage a wide range of gynecological conditions, including:

Menstrual disorders

Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)

Endometriosis

Fibroids

Ovarian cysts

Pelvic pain

Infertility-related gynecological concerns

Menopausal health issues

Gynecological infections and hormonal disorders

Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries, including:

Hysterectomy

Laparoscopic gynecological procedures (where applicable)

Hysteroscopy

Colposcopy

Management of benign gynecological conditions

Provide preventive women’s health services, screening, and health education.

Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for gynecological patients.

Collaborate with obstetricians, fertility specialists, radiologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.

Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH standards, clinical governance, and patient safety policies.

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CME activities, and departmental meetings.

Mentor junior doctors and contribute to clinical service development where applicable.

Requirements

Qualifications & requirements

MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.

Board certification, fellowship, or recognized postgraduate qualification in obstetrics & gynecology.

Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience at consultant level.

Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH) – Abu Dhabi consultant license.

Strong expertise in general gynecology, minimally invasive procedures, and women’s health management.

Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals or women’s health centers.

Expertise in laparoscopic surgery, advanced hysteroscopy, or reproductive gynecology is an advantage.

UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong focus on patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.
