The position

As a Financial Controller Sourcing & Procurement you:

• Have extensive knowledge of all aspects of systems and processes in own area and how this relates to other areas.
• Have an overview of the entire value chain, extensive process and system.
• Execute operational plan, signals deviations in department policies, structures and processes and supports manager in preparing the operational plan.
• Conduct structural analyses on transactions on aggregate level.
• Advise on 'technical' / content subjects, making proposals for translating given policies to business situations.
• Ensure coordination with the stakeholder about any bottlenecks and improvements.
• Have good insight into the related stakeholders. Sets own priorities.
• Operate independently to solve bottlenecks structurally and improve processes.

Specialist Operations - Supervises a team providing operations support activities such as payments, settlement, reconciliation, derivatives, collateral management, corporate actions and/or activities related to fund accounting. Has deep expertise in the service operations provided by that team.

Clients and Customer Management (Internal) - Explains and convinces internal and external stakeholders, argument based, while taking guidance from senior colleagues. Supports and attends preparations for customer service delivery meetings. Contributes with expertise.

Reporting - Perform the production of financial information, periodic and customised reports, and other disclosures relating to, for example, a product line, or local legal entity to management, clients and third parties.
