We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that full-time employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. ABOUT THE ROLE

Applied is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented New Graduate UX Test Engineer to join our specialized Validation team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our software applications provide an exceptional user experience while maintaining technical integrity. As a member of the Validation group, you will bridge the gap between design and engineering, executing rigorous testing strategies to validate usability, accessibility, and interface performance.

AT APPLIED INTUITION, YOU WILL:

  • Test Plan Development: Design and implement comprehensive validation scripts focused on user journeys, edge cases, and visual consistency.
  • Automation Engineering: Develop and maintain automated UI test suites using tools like Selenium or Appium to increase validation throughput.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UX Designers and Product Managers to refine requirements and provide feedback on design prototypes.
  • Defect Management: Identify, reproduce, and track UI/UX defects through their entire lifecycle using Jira or similar tracking systems.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, HMI, UX Design, or a related field and is graduating by December 2026.
  • Technical Proficiency: Foundational knowledge of software testing methodologies (Manual & Automated).
  • Programming: Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language such as C / C++, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • UX Fundamentals: Understanding of design principles, typography, and responsive layout validation.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, obsessive attention to detail, and excellent verbal/written communication.
