Our product helps millions of job seekers navigate the often-frustrating world of job applications. We're talking automated applications, resume optimization, interview prep, the whole shebang. For many of our users, the first interaction they have with AIApply isn't through the product itself, but through an ad, a social media post, or a quick video. This initial touchpoint is critical. It sets the tone, communicates our value, and ultimately determines if someone gives us a shot.

We need a Graphic Designer to own that crucial first impression. We're looking for someone to elevate our brand's visual identity across all our marketing channels. This isn't about simply executing on existing ideas; it's about bringing fresh, creative thinking to how we visually represent AIApply and its mission. You'll be the creative force behind our ad campaigns, social content, and the broader visual narrative that attracts job seekers to our platform.

Why now? AIApply is growing fast. As we scale, our marketing efforts become more diverse and sophisticated. We're experimenting with new channels, reaching new audiences, and constantly refining how we communicate our unique value proposition. Up until now, our small but mighty marketing team has juggled design alongside their other responsibilities. It's become clear that we need a dedicated expert to take our visual storytelling to the next level. We need someone who can not only produce stunning visuals but also contribute strategically to how our brand is perceived.

What you'll be doing day-to-day involves a lot of variety. One day you might be sketching out concepts for a new ad series in Figma, the next you could be storyboarding a short explainer video. You'll be designing compelling visual assets for our paid media campaigns – think social media ads, display banners, and potentially even some short animated spots. You'll also play a key role in developing visuals for organic social content, email marketing, and landing pages. There's a strong emphasis on brand consistency, so you'll be working to refine and expand our visual guidelines to ensure everything we put out there feels cohesive and distinctly AIApply.

You'll be embedded within our marketing team, working closely with our Growth Marketing Manager, Content Strategist, and our broader product marketing function. This isn't a siloed role; your input will be genuinely valued in discussions about campaign concepts and messaging. You'll also have a dotted line to our Head of Product Design, ensuring a strong connection to the overall product experience and brand identity.

During your first few months, we'll focus on getting you up to speed with our existing brand guidelines, understanding our current marketing efforts, and familiarizing you with our target audience. We'll start with some immediate, high-impact projects – perhaps a refresh of our current ad creatives or developing visuals for an upcoming product launch campaign. You'll quickly take ownership of our ad creative pipeline, working to iterate and optimize based on performance data. We believe in getting new hires contributing meaningfully as quickly as possible, while providing ample support and mentorship.

Our marketing team operates in a fully remote, asynchronous-first environment. We use Slack for quick communication, Notion for project management, and regular video calls for deeper discussions and collaborative sessions. We value clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning. You'll have the autonomy to manage your workload and schedule, while being a critical part of a supportive and collaborative team.

If this sounds like a fit, here's how our hiring process works: submit your application, including your portfolio. We'll review portfolios and invite promising candidates for an initial 30-minute video call with our Growth Marketing Manager. Following that, selected candidates will have a second 60-minute interview with the Head of Product Design and potentially a creative exercise. Finally, a short conversation with a co-founder rounds out the process. We aim for transparency and efficiency throughout.
