Industrial Design internship
YOUR MISSION AT VOI Voi is Europe's leading micromobility operator. Our vehicles are the product — how they look, feel, hold up and ride shapes every journey we make possible in cities. We're looking for one intern to join our Vehicle Design & Research team in Stockholm this autumn, for around 20 weeks. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of industrial design and mechanical engineering, working directly with the team shaping the future of Voi's vehicles. This isn't a role for observing from the sidelines. We're a small, senior team, and we're looking for someone who can genuinely hold their own alongside us from day one. You'll join live vehicle design and research work — not a side project. Depending on where the team's priorities land this autumn, that could include: Concept development for new vehicle components or platforms
Physical prototyping and mechanical detailing
Supporting research that feeds directly into design decisions
Bridging industrial design intent with mechanical feasibility
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK Studying industrial design, with a strong mechanical engineering foundation — or the reverse: a mechanical engineer with real design sensibility
Comfortable moving between sketching, CAD and physical prototypes
Curious about how things are made, not just how they look
Able to work independently and take feedback well
Based in or able to work from Stockholm for the full internship
Bachelor's or Master's level — what matters is the work, not the year
