Systems Administrator (Unix)

Weare seeking a skilled and proactive Unix/Linux Administrator with 4–5 years ofhands-on experience in managing enterprise Unix/Linux environments. The idealcandidate will have strong expertise in Red Hat, AIX, and Solaris systems,along with a good understanding of VMware ESX / Network / Storage technologies.This role is focused on ensuring system resilience through effective servicerecovery, disaster recovery (DR) testing, and root cause analysis (RCA) ofincidents. Requirements: Perform service recovery for Unix/Linux/Windows systems to ensure minimal downtime and business continuity. Conduct Disaster Recovery (DR) testing in coordination with business and infrastructure teams. Involved in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for critical incidents. Administer and maintain servers (Red Hat, AIX, Solaris) in production and DR environments. Provide 24x7 on-call support during assigned shifts and respond to severity 1 incidents under pressure. Communicate effectively with stakeholders during high-impact incidents and recovery efforts. Worked with L1 in monitoring system performance and proactively addressing potential issues. JobRequirements: Degree/Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent At least 4 years of experience in Linux/Unix Operating System Fair knowledge in Unix/Linux troubleshooting Good knowledge of ITIL processes, incident management and RCA methodologies. Experience working in a bank is a plus Experience working in Storage is a plus
