INSULATOR SUPERVISOR I
You will serve as a Insulator Supervisor I in the PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. See Additional Information section below for details
Major duties
- You will plan work assignments, sequence of work operations for subordinates and coordinate availability of special tools, materials and equipment.
- You will instruct workers on proper work methods, difficult work operations, use and care of equipment, and safe work practices.
- You will keep all work operations under close observation and control and resolve work problems to overcome bottlenecks, equipment breakdowns, material shortages or other delays.
- You will ensure tools, equipment and materials are properly used, stored and maintained.
- You will enforce safety, fire, good housekeeping and other regulations.
- You will look to improve shop work processes, ensuring manpower and material costs are directly linked to program and mission objectives.
Qualifications
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
