Civil Design Engineer - Water Wastewater

What you'll do • Design water and wastewater infrastructure systems including pipelines, treatment plants, storage tanks, and pump stations • Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports for municipal projects • Perform hydraulic modeling and system analysis using software such as WaterCAD, Innovyze, or similar tools • Support permitting efforts and coordinate with regulatory agencies • Participate in construction administration activities including site visits and coordination with contractors • Conduct client meetings and presentations, providing technical insight and project updates • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget • Manage project tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality goals
What you bring • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering • Professional Engineer (PE) license • 5+ years of experience working with municipal water and wastewater clients • Experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction administration of infrastructure projects • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with hydraulic modeling software preferred • Strong understanding of hydraulic analysis and design principles • In-depth knowledge of utility construction methods, materials, and water/wastewater treatment technologies • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to lead client presentations • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with project financial tracking tools preferred • Client service–oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Schedule:
On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
