Junior Technical Engineer – Construction

Job Purpose: Support the technical and engineering activities of construction projects, ensuring drawings, site activities, technical documentation, and project requirements are properly coordinated and executed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, update, and revise AutoCAD drawings based on project requirements.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Assist senior engineers in resolving technical and site-related issues.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and other project teams.
• Support preparation of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submissions.
• Conduct site visits and verify work against approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify drawing discrepancies and coordinate required corrections.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and technical documents.
• Support quantity take-offs and preparation of technical information when required.
• Ensure drawings and technical documents comply with project standards and requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related engineering discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in construction/technical engineering.
• Strong AutoCAD skills are required.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods and site activities.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM or other engineering software is an advantage.
