Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Location: Stavanger, Norway Category: Engineering About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in Stavanger. In this role, you will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of electrical solutions, work processes, and engineering tools. As electrical systems become increasingly integrated with remote control and digital technologies, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of modern, digitalized electrical systems. You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, including studies, tendering, project execution, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting during operations. The role may involve occasional travel, depending on project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Participate in electrical engineering activities throughout all project phases.

Contribute to studies, tender preparation, project execution, and testing.

Support commissioning activities and troubleshooting during operations.

Develop and improve electrical systems, engineering solutions, processes, and tools.

Contribute to the integration of electrical systems with remote control and digital technologies.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.

Provide technical input and support to projects when required.

Take technical leadership responsibility in projects where appropriate.

Travel occasionally in connection with project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering, Energy and Environment , or a related field.

Several years of professional experience working with electrical systems.

Strong understanding of electrical installations, preferably within offshore environments .

Experience and interest in energy systems , preferably from the oil & gas industry . Relevant experience from other industries will also be considered.

Trade certificate Group L or equivalent is an advantage.

Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and legislation.

Good understanding of electrical systems and their integration with digital and remote-control technologies.

Good IT skills and ability to work effectively with engineering and digital tools.
