CNC Machinist/Programmer – 1st Shift Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM Hours: Approximately 56 hours per week Pay: Up to $33/hour, depending on experience Potential Temp-to-Hire: After 90 days Position Overview We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision-machined parts used in industrial equipment and components. This position requires hands-on experience with CNC mills and lathes, the ability to work from machining drawings, and strong attention to dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities Read and interpret shop drawings and machining specifications.

Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills .

Create and modify CNC programs using G-code .

Work with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain controls; experience with every control is not required.

Maintain machining tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inch .

Measure and verify finished parts using precision instruments, including:

Calipers

Micrometers

Dial bore gauges

Inspect completed work to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.

Maintain consistent production and machining standards.

Follow safe work practices in a heavy industrial environment.

Maintain reliable attendance and arrive prepared for scheduled shifts.

Work scheduled overtime, including occasional Saturdays.

Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Qualifications Previous CNC programming and machining experience.

Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or mills.

Ability to read and understand technical machining drawings.

Knowledge of G-code programming.

Strong precision measurement and inspection skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances.

Commitment to workplace safety and quality.

Ability to work independently in a heavy manufacturing environment.
