C&S Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work
- Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
- Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
- Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project quality & safety plan, control and coordinate site works with the operations team as well as contractors
- Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme and produce short term works plans
- Check construction drawings and highlight discrepancies
- Ensure that all corrective actions or preventive actions is implemented effectively, and quality records are properly maintained
- Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program
- Ensure material submission & approval, ordering and delivery are according to agreed schedules
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience in construction projects
- Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
