Site Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend to project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants in order for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• To verify the work done on site are in accordance to the approved drawings / specifications / authority’s requirement and also ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP in order to minimize delay to the construction progress.
• To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
• Assist site management team in project Planning & coordination.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
• Arrange and prepare documents for authorities’ submission for CONQUAS, RI, TOP etc.
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Understanding of critical project criteria related to schedule & productivity.
• Must be a team player and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently, proactive and self-motivated.
• Able to provide guidance to new staff / junior staff.

Job Requirements:

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with relevant construction experience will have an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of construction methods, site supervision, and project coordination.
• Knowledge of shop drawing review, material submissions, and construction documentation is an advantage.
