Business Operations & Development Manager
Marsbridge Capital and its affiliated company, KK Partners, are research and technology businesses operating at the intersection of quantitative finance, data science and software engineering.
Our Yerevan-based team of approximately 10 professionals works on quantitative research, algorithmic trading systems, financial data and analytics, machine-learning solutions and the supporting technology infrastructure for international clients.
We are looking for a Business Operations & Development Manager to take ownership of day-to-day business operations while helping us systematically develop new client relationships and improve our market positioning.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with broad responsibility. It combines practical office and HR coordination, international business development, market research, digital company presence and selected strategic projects. It is not a traditional administrative-assistant position.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder and the technical team.
Business operations and administration
Take end-to-end ownership of day-to-day office operations and practical team requirements.
Coordinate service providers, suppliers, purchases, office supplies, maintenance and other operational matters.
Support recruitment coordination, interviews, onboarding, offboarding and maintenance of employee records.
Maintain organised and accurate physical and digital company documentation.
Manage the companies’ SharePoint information structure, document libraries, templates, access permissions and version control.
Maintain inventory, fixed-asset, purchase, supplier and service-provider records.
Track contracts, subscriptions, renewals, deadlines and outstanding action items.
Coordinate with external accountants, lawyers, IT providers, landlords and other professional advisers.
Prepare internal documents, meeting notes, trackers, reports and management information.
Identify inefficient processes and implement practical improvements rather than only administering existing procedures.
Handle employee, client and company information with appropriate confidentiality.
Business development and market research
Monitor relevant opportunities and client invitations.
Evaluate opportunities and coordinate the preparation of concise, tailored proposals with the technical team.
Manage proposal follow-ups and maintain an organised business-development pipeline.
Research the global market for algorithmic trading development, quantitative-finance research, financial-data solutions, data science and machine-learning services.
Identify prospective client companies, funds, trading firms, financial institutions, technology businesses and relevant decision-makers.
Prepare personalised outreach messages, capability statements and initial proposals.
Maintain prospect lists and CRM-style records of communications, next steps and outcomes.
Research competitors, service offerings, positioning, pricing approaches and emerging client needs.
Turn market findings into practical recommendations for improving our services, products, case studies and client-facing materials.
Help define and refine service packages so that they address identifiable market demand.
Coordinate the companies’ presence on LinkedIn, their websites and other relevant online channels.
Maintain a basic content calendar and help prepare company updates, case studies, research-related posts and marketing materials.
Monitor basic website, social-media and business-development performance indicators.
Support preparation of presentations, proposal documents and other client materials.
Required qualifications
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in business operations, project coordination, business development, consulting, research, professional services, finance, legal operations or a related area.
University degree in business administration, economics, finance, law, management, communications or another relevant field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Excellent written and spoken English and Armenian .
Ability to write clear, concise and professional proposals, emails, research summaries and internal documents.
Strong research, analytical and information-organisation skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage several workstreams, deadlines and stakeholders at the same time.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.
Confidence working with spreadsheets, trackers, document libraries and structured records.
Ability to handle confidential employee, client and company information responsibly.
Interest in learning about quantitative finance, financial technology, data science and software-development services.
Willingness to work full time from our Yerevan office.
No programming or quantitative-finance experience is required.
