Workday Certified Financial Consultant, Accounting Center
Accountabilities: Provide functional expertise across the Workday Financials product suite with a focus on Accounting Center.
Lead or support Workday implementation activities, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, demonstrations, and knowledge transfer.
Configure Workday solutions aligned with client business needs and industry best practices.
Support the deployment of Workday Accounting Center integrations and connectors.
Collaborate with client and data conversion teams to securely migrate legacy data into Workday.
Facilitate client adoption of Workday best practices through guidance, training, and effective communication.
Identify opportunities to improve deployment approaches, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and solution quality.
Provide project status updates, highlight risks, and contribute recommendations to improve project delivery and client adoption.
Maintain Workday certifications and remain active within the Workday ecosystem.
Mentor and support consultants by sharing product knowledge, implementation expertise, and best practices.
Collaborate effectively with project teams and help resolve complex functional and technical challenges.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, proactive communication, and professional excellence.
Requirements:
Current Workday Financials Certification with a specialization in Accounting Center.
4+ years of experience implementing Workday Accounting Center solutions.
Previous consulting experience within a software or technology consulting organization.
Experience deploying enterprise applications such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, or similar platforms.
Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to manage timelines and delivery objectives.
Strong business analysis skills with experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies through training and self-directed learning.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze processes, identify improvements, and develop scalable solutions.
Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
Experience managing multiple Financial projects simultaneously is an advantage.
Willingness to travel depending on project requirements.
