Accountabilities: The Sales Representative II, Spine will be responsible for driving sales performance, supporting customers, and representing assigned medical technology solutions within an established territory.

Promote and sell specialized spine and biologics products to physicians, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and other relevant medical professionals.

Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets and market share objectives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, clinical teams, and key decision-makers.

Provide field support and case coverage to customers, ensuring effective product use and customer satisfaction.

Manage product inventory, including consignment and loaner equipment, ensuring availability and efficient movement between accounts.

Conduct regular hospital visits, identify new business opportunities, and expand relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Provide product education, training, and support during procedures and customer interactions.

Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer needs while sharing insights with leadership teams.

Maintain accurate customer records, visit reports, and required documentation according to business processes.

Address customer concerns and escalate issues appropriately while maintaining high service standards.

Collaborate with sales leadership and internal teams to execute business initiatives and improve customer outcomes.

Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, conferences, and industry events to enhance expertise and performance.

Develop annual territory business plans with regular updates to track progress and identify growth opportunities.

Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support accounts, procedures, customer meetings, and business activities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a driven medical sales professional with experience in healthcare, clinical environments, or medical technology, combined with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant sales, clinical, healthcare, life sciences, or medical device experience; or

Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant sales, clinical, healthcare, life sciences, or medical device experience; or

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant sales, clinical, healthcare, life sciences, or medical device experience.

Previous experience in orthopedic, spine, biologics, or operating room environments is strongly preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with a wide range of healthcare professionals and stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a consultative, customer-focused approach.

Ability to work effectively in an operating room setting and support clinical procedures.

Experience managing a territory, achieving sales goals, and developing customer relationships.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance required.

Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule and meet the physical demands of a field-based role.
