Retirement and Pension Plan Manager

Accountabilities: Manage the day-to-day administration of retirement and pension programs, ensuring accurate and efficient plan operations.

Partner with internal teams and external providers to maintain effective retirement plan processes and deliver a strong employee experience.

Support compliance requirements, audits, regulatory activities, and retirement plan documentation.

Review eligibility, contribution, and payroll deduction data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Respond to employee and HR inquiries related to retirement benefits, providing guidance and timely resolutions.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and support enhancements to retirement programs and services.

Coordinate with benefits, payroll, finance, legal, and HR stakeholders to ensure alignment across plan activities.

Support global retirement and pension initiatives, including plan integration and harmonization efforts across multiple regions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required.

4–6 years of experience in retirement plan administration, pension programs, employee benefits, or a related field.

Strong understanding of retirement plan compliance, administration processes, and vendor management.

Experience working with retirement programs across multiple regions, including North America and international markets, is preferred.

Ability to manage relationships with external providers and internal stakeholders effectively.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail when reviewing plan data, contributions, and documentation.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to support employees and business partners.

Experience driving process improvements and managing benefits-related projects.

Professional certifications such as CEBS, RMA, CRPP, or CPFA are considered an asset.
