Instructional Designer

Accountabilities: The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving learning solutions that align with organizational goals and learner needs. This role requires creativity, strong project management skills, and the ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging educational experiences.

Design and develop instructional materials, including eLearning courses, workshops, and blended learning programs using structured instructional design methodologies.

Apply backwards design and outcome-based development principles to create learning experiences aligned with measurable objectives.

Collaborate with subject matter experts, facilitators, and cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and develop relevant training content.

Create clear learning objectives, assessments, and activities that support business priorities and learner success.

Evaluate training effectiveness through formative and summative assessments, using evaluation frameworks to continuously improve learning solutions.

Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.

Use authoring tools, learning management systems, multimedia resources, and AI-enabled technologies to enhance learning development processes.

Stay current with emerging learning trends, digital tools, and best practices to improve training experiences.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has experience creating impactful learning solutions and can combine instructional expertise with strong collaboration and technology skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience designing and developing learning solutions in corporate, academic, nonprofit, or similar environments.

Proven experience applying instructional design frameworks such as backwards design, outcome-based development, or comparable methodologies.

Strong ability to develop measurable learning objectives aligned with organizational goals and business needs.

Experience partnering with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather requirements, validate content, and deliver effective training programs.

Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools, multimedia design, learning management platforms, and digital learning technologies.

Experience using AI functionality within learning tools or content development workflows.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to embrace new technologies and continuously improve learning practices.
