Accountabilities: The Facility Manager will support facility operations by managing maintenance activities, vendor relationships, property improvements, and compliance initiatives across assigned locations. Key responsibilities include:

Provide facility management support for buildings, equipment, common areas, property repairs, capital replacements, preventative maintenance, and lease-related requirements.

Partner with regional and operational leaders to prioritize work orders, review budgets, manage maintenance programs, and support special projects.

Coordinate emergency responses, including communication with operations teams, vendors, risk partners, and other stakeholders during urgent facility issues.

Monitor work order progress, approvals, invoicing, and project workflows through facility management systems and reporting tools.

Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships and service contracts to support critical facility needs.

Collaborate with legal teams and property stakeholders to ensure lease obligations are maintained and facility standards are upheld.

Manage energy management systems and coordinate with utility partners to improve operational efficiency.

Conduct facility inspections to evaluate contractor performance, identify structural concerns, and assess overall property conditions.

Support proactive equipment replacement initiatives and capital improvement projects.

Maintain accurate property management documentation and facility records.

Collaborate with internal departments including operations, marketing, merchandising, technology, safety, and other business teams to support organizational goals.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong facility management experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple locations, vendors, and projects effectively. Required qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, facilities management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of relevant property management, facilities management, or multi-unit operations experience preferred.

Working knowledge of commercial leases, building maintenance, equipment operations, and property management practices.

Experience managing preventative maintenance programs, repairs, capital projects, and vendor contracts.

Ability to manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure alignment with financial objectives.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and make strategic decisions.

Experience using facility management and business software platforms such as fmPilot, EMS, AX, Expesite, SharePoint, Tableau, or similar tools.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects independently.

Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and business partners.

Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call responsibilities approximately three months per year.

Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
