We are looking for a Senior Quality Control Engineer to lead and follow up daily quality control activities across manufacturing operations. The role is highly shop-floor oriented and requires continuous presence on production lines to ensure products and processes meet approved specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and follow up daily QC activities and ensure required inspections are performed correctly and on time.

Perform and supervise incoming, in-process, and final product inspections according to specifications, drawings, control plans, and inspection standards.

Maintain regular presence on the production shop floor and closely monitor product and process quality.

Ensure proper first-piece / start-up approval before production continues.

Monitor critical product dimensions, appearance, weight, physical properties, and other defined quality parameters.

Identify nonconforming products and ensure proper segregation, identification, and disposition.

Take immediate action when quality deviations are detected and coordinate with Production to contain affected products.

Investigate recurring defects and process deviations using Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving tools.

Follow up corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.

Analyze quality problems, rejection trends, scrap, rework, and recurring defects and recommend improvement actions.

Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and ensure inspection records are accurate and complete.

Ensure QC inspectors follow inspection frequencies, sampling plans, work instructions, and approved quality procedures.

Guide, train, and follow up QC inspectors during their daily activities.

Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, and other departments to resolve quality issues.

Participate in handling customer complaints and investigating quality-related issues when required.

Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality improvement activities.

Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly used, maintained, and within valid calibration status.

Escalate critical quality issues immediately and ensure production is not released when requirements are not met.

Promote a strong quality culture and ensure that production pressure does not compromise product quality.

Bachelor's degree in Production, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

4–7 years of experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.

Strong practical experience in shop-floor quality control and production inspection.

Good knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and measuring instruments.

Good knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, CAPA, and basic quality tools.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 requirements and quality management systems.

Experience supervising or guiding QC inspectors is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Very good attention to detail and ability to identify abnormalities and recurring problems.

Strong reporting, documentation, and organizational skills.

Good communication skills and ability to deal effectively with production teams, technicians, and operators.

Able to make quality decisions and handle disagreements professionally.

Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.

Must be comfortable spending the majority of working time on the production shop floor, performing inspections and following up quality issues.

Good command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Residents of 10th of Ramadan, El Shorouk, Badr, Obour, Belbeis, Elsalam or nearby areas are preferred.
