BIM Technician – Public Health & Fire Fighting

Hire Pals is supporting a leading international architecture and engineering consultancy in the recruitment of a BIM Technician – Public Health & Fire Fighting to join its Building Design team in Cairo. The role will focus on the development and coordination of BIM models for Public Health, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems , working closely with engineers, BIM specialists and multidisciplinary design teams on complex building projects.

Key Responsibilities Develop and coordinate detailed BIM models for Public Health and Fire Fighting systems .

Produce accurate technical drawings and BIM deliverables in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards.

Work closely with Public Health/Fire Fighting engineers and other disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural and Structural teams.

Support multidisciplinary design coordination and ensure models are properly integrated across disciplines.

Perform clash detection using Navisworks and support the resolution of coordination issues.

Participate in BIM coordination meetings, design reviews and technical workshops.

Maintain project BIM files, models and documentation in accordance with agreed standards.

Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness and overall quality.

Support QA/QC processes for BIM deliverables.

Coordinate with regional and international project teams where required.

Contribute to improvements in BIM workflows, standards and project delivery processes.

What We’re Looking For 5+ years of BIM experience , ideally within building services.

Degree, diploma or relevant professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering, BIM or a related discipline .

Strong hands-on experience with Public Health, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems .

Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit .

Experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks .

Familiarity with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM Collaborate Pro.

Dynamo experience is advantageous.

Strong understanding of BIM coordination and clash-detection processes.

Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and authority requirements.

Previous experience within an engineering consultancy or multidisciplinary design environment is highly desirable.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good command of written and spoken English.
