Job Summary

Support project execution by managing contract requirements, coordinating site activities, ensuring quality and compliance, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to deliver successful M&E and construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret contract requirements and M&E specifications to monitor project progress and ensure compliance
  • Coordinate site activities with consultants, builders, and contractors to maintain smooth operations
  • Inspect workmanship to verify it meets project standards and quality requirements
  • Collaborate with support teams to facilitate timely and efficient project delivery
  • Lead project meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve operational issues
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and prepare management reports
  • Prepare and submit project, as-built, and related drawings to clients accurately and on time
  • Oversee site adherence to safety and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment
  • Conduct testing and commissioning activities to validate project completion and functionality
  • Evaluate and select qualified suppliers and subcontractors based on project needs and criteria
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with consultants, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to optimize project costs
  • Measure completed work accurately to support periodic progress payments and client billings
  • Resolve project issues through negotiation during execution phases to maintain project scope and schedule
  • Advise on contractual claims to effectively manage project scope and risks
  • Assist in preparing tender and contract documentation to support procurement processes
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as required to support overall project objectives and deadlines

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience, preferably in construction-related projects
  • Knowledge of Quantity Surveying or Structural Engineering concepts
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Willingness to work beyond normal hours and travel to work sites as project demands require
  • Ability to commence work on short notice to meet project timelines
