Foreign procurement and logistics coordinator

Key Responsibilities Coordinate and follow up on international shipments from booking until arrival and clearance. Communicate professionally with international suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. Prepare, review, and follow up on all shipping and import/export documentation with a very high level of accuracy. Review documents such as Bill of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and shipping instructions. Follow up on shipment schedules, ETD, ETA, delays, and operational issues. Coordinate shipping instructions and ensure all required documents are received accurately and on time. Communicate with shipping lines regarding bookings, vessel schedules, amendments, delays, and related issues. Negotiate with shipping lines and logistics service providers when required. Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure proper documentation and filing. Coordinate closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and other relevant departments. Resolve shipment-related issues efficiently and ensure timely delivery. Ensure compliance with International Trade, Import/Export procedures, and applicable Incoterms. Requirements

Immediate availability is required.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Foreign Logistics, International Shipping, Import/Export, or a similar role.

Experience with major shipping lines such as Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM is highly preferred.

Fluent English is mandatory – excellent written and spoken English.

Excellent professional email communication and business writing skills.

Strong follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Good understanding of Incoterms and international shipping documentation.

Strong hands-on experience dealing with shipping lines and freight forwarders.

Very high attention to detail, particularly when reviewing shipping and import/export documents.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Willingness to work according to European business hours, which may differ from local working hours.

Strong knowledge of International Trade and Import/Export procedures.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
