MEP Engineer

Your tasks

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on-site.
• Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical installations, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, technicians, consultants, and other project team members to ensure smooth execution of activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify technical issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and work schedules to ensure accurate implementation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and provide updates on site activities, materials, and outstanding works.
• Ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and resources while minimising waste and delays.

Requirements

• HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in MEP works.
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing installations.
• Proven ability to supervise site activities and coordinate multiple trades.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Good problem-solving, communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of relevant safety procedures and engineering standards.
