Atomic Machines is ushering in a new era of micromanufacturing with its Matter Compiler™ technology platform. This platform enables new classes of micromachines to be designed and built by providing manufacturing processes and a materials library that are inaccessible to semiconductor manufacturing methods. It unlocks MEMS manufacturing not only for device classes that could never be produced by semiconductor methods, but also for entirely new categories. Furthermore, this digital platform is fully programmable in the way 3D printing is digital—but whereas 3D printing produces parts of a single material using a single process, the Matter Compiler™ technology platform is a multi-process, multi-material system: bits and raw materials go in, and complete, functional micromachines come out. The Atomic Machines team has also created an exciting first device—made possible only through the Matter Compiler™ technology platform—that we will be unveiling to the world soon.

Our offices are in Emeryville and Santa Clara, California.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will manage the flow of materials through receiving, inventory, and kitting operations. You’ll play a key role in verifying, storing, and staging materials for production while maintaining 100% record accuracy and inventory traceability.

You won’t just move materials - you’ll actively improve warehouse workflows, enhance kitting accuracy, and help build a data-driven materials management culture that supports precision manufacturing at scale.

What You’ll Do

Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips

Inspect shipments for visible damage, missing labels or documentation errors

Record receipt details and storage locations in the materials management system

Safely handle and store materials per SOP (e.g., FIFO, lot tracking)

Maintain clean, organized stock and staging areas

Pick, stage and kit materials for production and R&D work orders

Perform cycle counts and assist in full physical inventory

Communicate shortages, overages, or discrepancies to procurement or production leads

Maintain traceability and labeling of all stock materials

Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve material availability issues

Use basic warehouse equipment - pallet jack, forklift, stocker

Identify and implement process improvements in storage, labeling, and layout

Follow all safety, PPE, and ESD handling protocols

What You’ll Need

2 - 4 years warehouse or material-handling experience in manufacturing / production environment

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

ERP or inventory system experience (e.g., Inflow, SAP, Oracle)

Understanding of inventory principles (FIFO, cycle counting, traceability)

Familiarity with barcode scanners and digital documentation tools

Forklift experience in a warehouse / loading dock environment

Ability to read/interpret work orders, labels, and part numbers

Strong communication (both verbal and written) and teamwork skills

Reliable, punctual, consistent work ethic

Basic computer skills (Google Workspace / Microsoft Office)

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift ≤ 30 lbs regularly

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, and lifting ≤ 30 lbs

Manual handling of boxes, bins and handling small components

Occasional work in controlled environments (cleanroom / ESD)

Regular use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes)

Bonus Points

Manufacturing or assembly-line warehouse experience

Forklift / pallet-jack certification (current)

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems

Experience with Lean, 5S, or other continuous improvement methods

Experience supporting production kitting or materials staging

Hourly Rate Range $33 — $38 USD
