QA Engineer (Mobile & Web) – (Contractor)📈

At ArrowFin, we don’t build typical apps, we support the construction of high-frequency, low-latency trading tools directly connected to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). We are looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed QA Engineer to own the quality of our cross-platform trading ecosystem.

If you thrive on inspecting WebSockets, testing real-time financial data, and ensuring flawless user execution when real money is on the line, this is your zone. What You’ll Be Doing: Mobile-First Testing: Lead functional, regression, and edge-case testing on native iOS & Android apps. You’ll validate real-time streaming charts, order execution speed, and push notifications. Cross-Platform Parity: Perform cross-browser and multi-device validation to ensure seamless state synchronization (e.g., initiating an order on Web and monitoring it live on Mobile). Fintech & Risk Logic Validation: Test critical financial engine workflows: order types (Market, Limit, Stop), margin exposure calculations, leverage, and real-time P&L updates. Deep Network Inspection: Intercept and inspect REST APIs, WebSockets, and payload data using Postman, Charles Proxy, and DevTools. Agile Defect Management: Write crystal-clear, high-context bug reports in Jira (with logs, screen recordings, and precise reproduction steps) and collaborate actively in sprint ceremonies.

What We Are Looking For: English Level: B2 / Upper-Intermediate (written and spoken) to collaborate smoothly with international team members. Experience: 3+ years of hands-on QA experience, with a heavy emphasis on native mobile applications (iOS/Android) and web dashboards. Technical Toolkit: Proficiency with Chrome DevTools, Postman, Charles Proxy / Fiddler, Xcode, and Android Logcat. Methodologies: Strong grasp of boundary value analysis, exploratory testing, REST APIs/WebSockets, and Agile/Scrum practices. Mindset: Proactive, analytical, and uncompromising when it comes to software reliability and user experience. Fintech / Trading Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial markets, derivatives, trading mechanics, or risk management concepts (Nice to have).
