" To check quality of repair and roadworthiness of the vehicle before handing over to the customer. \nEnsure all complaints in the repair order are complete as per manufacturer\u2019s standard. If not, report to technician\/team leader about the same and do not sign off. \nCheck roadworthiness of the vehicle by testing on road and visual inspection on ramp and certify the vehicle is fit for delivery to the customer. \nEnsure vehicles are parked in the appropriate place after road test and inspection. \nUpgrade knowledge by regularly doing web-based courses and by attending classroom trainings. \nKeep all personal tools safe. Any breakages or accidents must be reported to the team leader\/supervisor immediately. \nAny unused parts must be returned or stored properly as per company procedure. Used parts must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. \nTo work extra hours in case the job needs to be completed to ensure customer satisfaction as per team leader\u2019s requirement. \nEnsure removed\/replaced old parts are securely kept inside the boot without staining the interior. \nEnsure used batteries are not kept inside the vehicle. \nAdhere to health, safety and environment regulations of the company. \nFollow speed limits wherever applicable. \n\n Education\/Certification and Continued Education \n \n Industrial Technical Institute ITI (2 years vocational course) - Certified Auto Technician Course \n Diploma in Automotive Engineering \n \n\n Years of Experience \n \n 3 to 4 years experience as a technician (if diploma holder) and a valid driving license. \n 5 to 7 years experience as a technician if ITI holder. \n Additional technical skills, if any, are an additional advantage. \n \n\n Knowledge and Skills \n \n Should have completed Level-2 (JLR) or Specialized Technician level (Ford) or equivalent. \n "
