About Wolt

At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.

Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.

International Finance & Strategy sits at the center of how we plan, forecast, and operate the business globally. This role will focus on scaling the systems, models, and planning infrastructure that power Finance across the organization.

This is a highly cross-functional role that bridges Finance, Systems, and Technical teams. You will partner closely with Finance, Accounting Systems, IBM Planning Analytics teams, Pigment teams, and Data/Technical stakeholders to improve how financial data flows through our planning ecosystem.

The ideal candidate combines strong business and financial acumen with systems-oriented thinking. You should understand how the business works, how the financial model behaves, and how planning systems must be structured to support scalable forecasting and decision-making.

This role is not traditional FP&A business partnering. Your stakeholders are primarily within Finance, Systems, and Technical teams, and your impact will come from improving how Finance operates at scale.

We are looking for someone who can bridge a common gap within organizations: translating between highly technical systems teams and Finance stakeholders. Success in this role requires someone who can speak both languages, understand the business deeply, and help ensure planning systems accurately reflect operational and financial reality.

What you’ll be doing

Own and improve FP&A planning infrastructure

Support the design, maintenance, and scaling of forecasting and planning models across IBM Planning Analytics and Pigment

Translate business and financial requirements into scalable planning logic and system design

Improve model structure, auditability, flexibility, and usability across planning workflows

Help standardize planning methodologies and forecasting processes across international markets

Bridge Finance and Technical Systems teams

Act as a key connector between Finance, Accounting Systems, and Technical Systems teams

Partner with technical stakeholders to ensure planning tools accurately reflect business logic and financial requirements

Help drive alignment across systems, reporting definitions, assumptions, and data structures

Translate complex financial concepts into actionable technical requirements, and technical limitations into business implications

Drive data integrity and reconciliation

Ensure consistency across planning systems, ERP/accounting systems, and reporting outputs

Investigate and resolve discrepancies across datasets, models, and reporting layers

Build scalable reconciliation and validation processes to improve confidence in financial outputs

Support creation of a more unified and reliable source of truth across Finance systems

Improve operational scalability

Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and simplify Finance workflows

Support implementation of new tooling, planning capabilities, and systems enhancements

Help Finance operate more efficiently through stronger systems architecture and process design

Partner on dashboards and reporting infrastructure to improve visibility into financial performance

Our humble expectations

Finance and business acumen

4–7 years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Finance Systems, or related roles

Strong understanding of business models, financial drivers, and planning processes

Deep financial modeling and forecasting capabilities

Ability to connect operational business drivers to financial outcomes

Systems and technical orientation

Experience working with enterprise planning tools such as Pigment, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar platforms

Comfortable working within planning systems in a hands-on capacity, not just as an end user

Strong systems intuition with the ability to quickly learn new tools and architectures

Experience working with large datasets, reconciliations, or interconnected financial systems

Cross-functional communication

Ability to communicate effectively with both Finance and technical stakeholders

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems across multiple teams

Strong process orientation and attention to detail

Ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across functions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and/or Pigment

Exposure to international finance or multi-entity planning environments

Experience with SQL, BI tools, or dashboarding platforms

Exposure to automation or AI-enabled finance workflows

Experience supporting systems implementations or planning transformations

Why this role matters

Finance is only as strong as the systems and data infrastructure that support it. One of the biggest challenges in scaling Finance systems is bridging the gap between technical implementation and business reality.

Technical systems teams often lack full business context, while Finance teams may not fully understand the underlying systems architecture. This role sits directly in the middle of that challenge.

You will help ensure our planning systems accurately reflect how the business operates, while enabling Finance teams to forecast, analyze, and make decisions more effectively at scale.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
