Construction Project Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities
The Civil Construction Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects to ensure completion within scope, schedule, quality, and budget. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to deliver projects works safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager in overall project planning, scheduling, and execution of civil construction works.
- Coordinate site activities including structural, architectural, and M&E interfacing works.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved plans and timelines.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site workforce effectively.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and construction programs.
- Resolve technical and site issues in coordination with consultants and stakeholders.
- Track project materials, resources, and cost control.
- Prepare progress reports, site documentation, and project updates
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and construction codes.
- Prefer candidates with local Civil Engineering Projects experiences and holding Class 3 (min) driving license.
