Location: Bendemeer
Working Hours: Regular Office Hours
Employment Type: 12-month Contract (Renewable)
Responsibilities:
- Support the sourcing and purchasing of materials, components, equipment, and services
- Assist in cost analysis and volume planning for key commodities
- Learn and develop technical understanding of products and materials used in operations
- Coordinate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure timely material availability
- Monitor inventory levels and support planning to meet production needs
- Track supplier performance in terms of delivery, cost, and quality
- Assist in managing subcontractors to ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and scope
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives such as:
- Exploring alternative suppliers
- Supporting vendor evaluation
- Participating in make vs. buy analysis
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of experience are welcome to apply
- Strong interest in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP/ERP knowledge is an advantage
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
