Senior Backend Developer

Your tasks

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems that power our real estate technology solutions, smart-city platforms, and digital twin products.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Lead backend architecture, system design, and database modeling decisions.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Develop secure, reliable, and high-performance applications capable of handling data-intensive workloads.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and production issues.
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices for code quality, code reviews, automated testing, and secure development.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, product, and AI teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, monitoring, logging, and production support.
• Mentor backend engineers and support technical knowledge sharing across the team.
• Participate in technical planning and make architectural decisions aligned with business and product requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in backend development, system architecture, database design, and performance optimization, along with the ability to take technical ownership, mentor team members, and contribute to key engineering decisions.

• Backend: Next.js backend development or comparable backend technologies
• Database: PostgreSQL, SQL
• Frontend: React, Next.js
• Mobile: React Native
• AI Integration: Python-based AI services
• Version Control: Git, GitHub
• Engineering Practices: Automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and performance optimization

• Job Requirements

Strong professional experience in backend engineering and software development.

Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable application development.

Advanced knowledge of API design, SQL, relational database modeling, and PostgreSQL.

Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications.

Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, reliability, and scalability.

Experience with automated testing, Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Next.js backend development or comparable backend technologies.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication skills, technical ownership, and the ability to mentor other engineers.
