Maximo Aviation Install Specialist – MAS

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maximo Aviation Install Specialist to support a major Maximo upgrade and migration programme within the Aerospace & Defence sector.

The project involves the technical upgrade and lift-and-shift migration of an existing Maximo 7.6 environment running on Oracle to Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x running on DB2 , hosted in Azure Cloud .

The successful candidate will be responsible for MAS 9.2 installation and configuration , OpenShift deployments, Maximo Aviation-specific technical activities, DB2 integration and troubleshooting upgrade/remediation issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.2 .
• Perform technical configuration and deployment activities across MAS environments.
• Support OpenShift-based MAS deployments .
• Configure and troubleshoot Maximo application components.
• Apply strong knowledge of Maximo Aviation functionality and technical requirements.
• Support integration between MAS and DB2 environments.
• Troubleshoot installation, configuration and deployment issues.
• Investigate and resolve upgrade-related technical issues and remediation requirements.
• Support the migration from the existing Maximo 7.6 environment to MAS 9.x.
• Work with technical teams to identify and resolve platform and integration issues.
• Support technical validation and environment readiness throughout the upgrade programme.

Technical Environment

Current Environment: Maximo 7.6 + Oracle Target Environment: MAS 9.x + DB2 Target MAS Version: MAS 9.2 Platform: OpenShift Cloud: Azure Sector: Aerospace & Defence Migration Approach: Technical lift-and-shift upgrade and migration

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience installing and configuring MAS 9.2 .
• Strong Maximo Aviation domain experience.
• Hands-on OpenShift deployment experience.
• Good understanding of DB2 integration within Maximo/MAS environments.
• Experience troubleshooting Maximo upgrades and remediation .
• Experience with Maximo 7.x to MAS migration/upgrade programmes.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
• Exposure to Azure-hosted Maximo/MAS environments is desirable.

Eligibility & Security

SC Clearance required or candidate must be eligible and able to obtain it. Ability to work 1–2 days per week onsite in Derby .
