MIG Welder

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding to a high standard.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Assemble and weld metal structures and components.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for each job.
• Inspect welds for quality and correct defects as required.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet schedules.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or heavy equipment environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience welding mild steel across a range of thicknesses.
• Safe operation of welding equipment, hand tools and power tools.
