A logistics company is expanding into new markets. A freight forwarder is looking for more efficient claims processes. A transport operator is facing increasing contractual liabilities, changing customer requirements, and emerging risks. This is where your expertise comes in.

As Transport & Logistics Practice Leader, you act as a trusted advisor to our clients and as a driving force behind the further development of GrECo's transport and logistics business. You combine industry knowledge, insurance expertise, and commercial thinking to help clients navigate complex risk landscapes while supporting the sustainable growth of our portfolio. You identify market opportunities, develop innovative solutions, support key client relationships, and share your expertise across the GrECo network.

Together with Account Management, Sales, Claims, and International colleagues, you help shape the future of our Transport & Logistics Practice and ensure that our clients receive industry-specific advice tailored to their business realities.

Growth-and Future-Oriented | Your Responsibilities

Lead the further development of GrECo's Transport & Logistics Practice across the region. Act as a subject matter expert for transport, logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, rail, intermodal, and related industries. Advise key clients on risk management, insurance strategies, contractual liabilities, and market developments. Support Account Management teams in the design and implementation of complex insurance solutions for transport and logistics clients. Identify business development opportunities and contribute to acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships. Build and maintain relationships with insurers, industry partners, and market stakeholders. Monitor market trends, emerging risks, regulatory developments, and industry innovations affecting the transport and logistics sector. Develop best practices, service standards, and product concepts that strengthen GrECo's market position. Share knowledge through internal training, client workshops, presentations, and industry events. Collaborate with local and international teams to deliver consistent and high-quality solutions across markets.

Professional and Personal Competence | Your Profile

Several years of professional experience within the transport, logistics, freight forwarding, marine cargo, or transport insurance sector. Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations, contractual frameworks, liabilities, and risk management principles. Experience advising corporate clients and developing long-term business relationships. Proven ability to identify commercial opportunities and translate industry knowledge into client value. Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset. Comfortable working with digital tools and data-driven decision-making. Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects while maintaining a clear overview. International outlook and willingness to collaborate across markets. Team-oriented personality who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others succeed.

4500-7000 €/mon. gross

In addition, an annual performance-based bonus may be offered.
