You will serve as a Combined Trades Supervisor I in the PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. See Additional Information section below for details

Major duties

  • You will supervise Plastic Fabricator, Fabric Worker and Shipwright trade employees.
  • You will review assigned job orders, workload data, plans, specifications, sketches and instructions; plans weekly/monthly work schedules and sequence of work operations for subordinates.
  • You will coordinate availability of any special tools, materials, equipment or materials to assist with trade help required.
  • You will inspect work for quality and conformance with instructions/specifications and will be responsible for validity/correctness of all temporary services performed.
  • You will maintain records of subordinates' time and manhour charges to assigned job orders in addition to approving leave requests and recommending formal disciplinary actions for subordinates.

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
